Book reviews: Self-Healing Powerful Techniques
Recently I came across this review from Aliesa George.
We always enjoy hearing what people have experienced when reading Dr. Singh's book, Self -Healing Powerful Techniques.
here is what Aliesa had to say in a recent blog entry:
Last weekend a friend handed me a book to read, and as I started it I wondered why it hadn’t crossed my radar sooner! On the cover it states: “Within minutes these techniques trigger health-producing effects for: Cancer Prevention & Reversal, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Insomnia, Alzheimers, Diabetes, Anxiety, Depression, PMS, Stress Reduction, Jetlag”
Now, who on the planet doesn’t fall into at least one of these categories!
So what’s the book? Self-Healing: Powerful Techniques by Ranjie N. Singh, Ph.D.
I haven’t made it all the way through the book yet - but it’s great to see medical research on the mind-body connection as well as how important breathing is for the health of our body systems. For me personally, falling asleep at night is an issue. My brain always seems to be on overdrive and shutting down is a challenge. Since I’ve started doing the easy exercises in this book, I’m falling asleep noticibly quicker. In fact there are 3 recommended breathing exercises and as of yet - I’m asleep before I’ve finished the first one!If you’re looking for ways to improve your own health and strengthen the mind-body connection - I’d recommend this book. If you’re in a health/healing profession and are looking for resources to share with your clients - I’d recommend this book. With information like this available, that only takes a few minutes a day to do - it should be easy to obtain & maintain good health!
